Crushed a street food doc series, need more like it

I binged all of 'Street Food: Asia' in two days. The focus on the cooks and their lives really hooked me. Now I want other shows that dig into how food ties to place and people. What should I watch next?

You said the focus on the cooks' lives hooked you, but sometimes I prefer when a show just lets the food be the star. All those personal stories can start to feel the same after a while. Check out 'The Chef Show' for something more about the craft and way less heavy.

Man, you hit on something I see everywhere now. It's like every product needs a "story" behind it, not just a good price or solid build. My local coffee shop pushes the farmer's life story more than the roast notes. Even tools at the hardware store have some "craftsman's journey" on the packaging. Sometimes I just want a good drill, you know?

Read about 'High on the Hog' tying food to American history, worth a look?
