I finally gave 'The Bear' a chance after avoiding it for months, and I was completely wrong about it.

The stress is too real though.

The stress is part of the point for me. That scene where Carmy is locked in the walk-in fridge and just loses it, that felt honest. It wasn't just for drama. It showed how pressure can trap you. The show makes you feel that panic, but it also shows them working through it. I found it more about pushing past the breaking point than just being stressful.

How do you even handle that kind of pressure without losing it? @the_pat is totally right about it being honest, because that feeling of being trapped is the worst. I've been in spots like that, and the trick is to force yourself to focus on one tiny, doable thing first. It breaks the panic cycle. For me, it was literally just counting to ten and then fixing the one broken sauce on the line. That show gets it, the stress isn't the end of the story, it's the thing you have to move through.
