My 3am spreadsheet spiral that ended with a romcom marathon

Last Tuesday I couldn't sleep after work, so I started organizing my watchlist by IMDB ratings and runtime. Three hours later I had color coded everything and realized I'd spent more time sorting shows than actually watching them since January. So I closed the laptop, grabbed a bag of popcorn, and binged a cheesy 2009 romcom series just because the lead actress smiled in the thumbnail. No data, no rankings, just pure mindless fun. Does anyone else ever overthink their queue into a paralysis spiral, or am I the only one needing a rule like 'pick in under 60 seconds'?
