My internet went out for a full day right in the middle of a 'Severance' marathon.
It happened on Tuesday, right after the big cliffhanger at the end of episode five. I ended up just staring at my router's blinking red light for a while, then read a book. What's the best show you've had to pause a binge on at the worst possible moment?

Been there, I keep a few episodes downloaded on my tablet for exactly that kind of cliffhanger emergency.

Oh, you mean you haven't done that? That's like a whole thing for me now. I swear, every time there's a slow loading screen or a buffering circle, I just stare at the router like it's gonna magically fix itself. It's weirdly calming in a frustrating sort of way. Actually I do the same thing with my phone sometimes, just hold it up and glare at it. It never works but I keep doing it anyway. I think it's just part of the tech ritual now.
