My wife and I started 'The Bear' last Thursday, and we haven't spoken to each other since.
We're both so stressed out from watching it that we just sit in silence after each episode. Anyone else need a chill show to recover from this one?

Honestly, that show is a whole different kind of stress. My partner and I tried to watch it after a long workday once and it felt like bringing more work home. We had to switch to something dumb like a baking show just to remember how to breathe normally. The silence in your living room sounds about right. It's a great show but it needs its own warning label. Maybe try a nature documentary next, something where the most drama is a bird building a nest.

Is it weird that I kind of miss the silence after an episode? It felt like we were both in shock. We ended up watching a whole season of that show about people fixing old cars, just to hear some calm talking and see a problem actually get solved. The Bear is amazing but it really does leave you with this heavy feeling that needs to be aired out.
