PSA: I binged all 5 seasons of The Expanse in like 10 days and it wrecked my sleep schedule

I stayed up til 4am on a Tuesday just to finish season 4 because I couldn't stop watching the political drama on Ceres. Has anyone else found a show that just completely takes over your life like that?

My buddy Dave did the same thing with The Expanse. He called out sick from work for two days straight just to finish season 5. His wife was not thrilled when she found empty coffee cups all over the living room.

@adams.henry you call two days "sick" but I bet Dave was really just giving himself a mental health day to decompress with good TV.

Tell Dave to set clear boundaries next time. Pick a start and end time for his binge, then set an alarm. I did the same thing with Breaking Bad and had to remind myself that the meth lab cleanup could wait until after work on Monday. The empty coffee cups and wrappers won't pile up if you take a 10 minute break every few hours to tidy up. Plus it helps your back from sitting so long.
