The 2023 show everyone forgot about vs the 2018 show nobody watched - which is better?

Has anybody else noticed that this happens with everything now, not just shows? Like I still see people arguing over a restaurant that closed three years ago and nobody even went to. But then something that was actually popular last summer gets completely forgotten by winter. Its weird how our brains just dump stuff that was everywhere one minute like it never happened.

Gasped out loud when I read this. You're telling me people are actually arguing over a restaurant that's been dead for three years? That's the kind of stuff I expect from my uncle who still brings up a pizza place from 1987 every Thanksgiving. Meanwhile I literally can't remember what show was trending on Twitter last month without checking my browser history. It makes you wonder if our brains are just wired to hold onto the weirdest junk and throw out the stuff that actually matters.

Yeah and it's the same way I can remember the score of a baseball game from 2006 but not what I ate for breakfast yesterday.
