Tried watching 'The Bear' in one sitting and my brain is still fried

I mean, I binged all of season two in a single Sunday and it felt like I'd worked a double shift at a real kitchen. The constant yelling and stress in episode 7 actually made my heart race. Anyone else have a show that was so intense it felt like a workout?

Take a real break after a few episodes, even if you want to keep going. I had to pause that show and just stare at the wall for a minute to calm down. Watching something totally chill, like a nature documentary, in between helps reset your brain.

I took a walk after episode 7, just like the_james said to do.

the_james, did you actually take a walk too or was that just advice you were throwing out there? Because I tried that after season 2 episode 3 and ended up pacing around my kitchen like a lunatic for twenty minutes. The problem is the show is so good at building that pressure cooker feeling that even stopping doesn't seem to help right away. My brain just kept replaying the kitchen chaos on loop, might as well have been standing in the middle of the Beef. Did the nature docs actually work for you or did you just end up thinking about the show the whole time anyway?
