Watched 'The Bear' and 'Boiling Point' back to back last month

The Bear's messy, emotional chaos just hits harder than Boiling Point's tight, single-take gimmick, maybe it's the characters. Anyone else compare these two kitchen stress-fests?

Read a review that said Boiling Point feels like a panic attack, but The Bear feels like a whole life crisis. Did you get that vibe too? The gimmick is cool but I just cared more about Carmy and the crew.

Yeah saw that take somewhere. Boiling Point is pure stress but The Bear digs way deeper into the characters, right? That's why it hits harder.

Honestly, after watching both, Boiling Point just felt like being stuck in a bad shift. The Bear is like getting hired at that place and finding out everyone's whole messed up backstory. One is a really well made panic button, the other makes you want to go to family therapy with a bunch of cooks. Did you end up rooting for anyone in Boiling Point, or were you just waiting for the health inspector to shut it all down?
