A guy at my Thursday game night told me my rulebook explanations were killing the fun, so now I teach games backwards
He said I spend 15 minutes on setup and edge cases before anyone touches a piece, so now I run one fake turn first and explain rules only when they come up. Has anyone else tried teaching by just playing the first round out loud?
