Appreciation post for the guy at my local shop in Akron who taught me why my trains keep jamming
I was complaining at the counter last Saturday about how my copy of Ticket to Ride kept getting stuck at the worst moment, and he asked if I was shuffling the train cards face down or mixing them into the deck. Turns out I had been piling new cards on top of the draw pile for two years, which meant everyone was pulling from the same clump near the bottom. How do you all handle card wear and clumping in games you have owned for a long time?
