Caught a board game night host rearranging our player order after we left

Last month at a weekly meetup in Portland, the host kept winning after we switched spots at the table. I found out later he was secretly reseating people based on who he thought would slow down his main rival. Has anyone else seen someone mess with seating to rig a game?

Twenty three dollars for a parking spot in Portland is just highway robbery, plain and simple. I've seen plenty of shady stuff at game nights over the years, but rigging seating is a whole new level of petty. The host probably thinks he's some kind of chess master, but it really just makes him look desperate. If I caught someone doing that at my table, I'd call them out right then and there, no apologies.
