DAE get annoyed when people call any board game 'D&D'?

I mean, I was at a cafe last week and overheard someone point at a group playing Betrayal at House on the Hill and say 'oh cool, they're playing Dungeons & Dragons'. It's a totally different kind of game! Has anyone else run into this specific mix-up?

That's a whole new level of wrong. It's like calling a bicycle a monster truck because they both have wheels. The only thing they have in common is that you sit at a table. One is about trading sheep for wood, the other is about fighting dragons in your mind. Your cousin might need a board game cheat sheet.
