Hot take: Board game sleeves are NOT worth it for every game
I grabbed a copy of Terraforming Mars from a thrift store and didn't bother sleeving it, and after 3 plays the cards started showing edge wear and it bugs me every time I shuffle. Has anyone here regretted sleeving a game or is that just me being weird?

Bought a used copy of 7 Wonders Duel and skipped sleeves, now every card has those little white dings on the edges and it drives me nuts every time I play. You’re definitely not alone in that frustration.

Picked up a pack of Mayday sleeves from my local shop and it made a huge difference. The white dings still bug me but at least they won't get any worse now.
