Just learned the hard way why you don't buy cheap dice sets on Amazon
I ordered a 20 pack of polyhedral dice for $12 after seeing a deal. Looked fine in the pictures but when they showed up the d20 was visibly lopsided. Rolled it 50 times and got a 1 or 2 like 30% of the time. Whole group wasted a night blaming bad rolls before someone noticed. Anyone else get burned by those mystery dice bundles?

Yeah but what color were they though because I swear the neon green ones are cursed somehow lol. I bought a 20 pack once and the d20 looked like someone took a bite out of it on one side. Half the numbers were practically invisible too which made combat a nightmare.

Hold up, I gotta disagree a little bit here. I've actually had the complete opposite luck with neon green dice. My first set was neon green and they rolled hotter than any other set I own. But yeah, that invisible numbers problem is real on some of those cheaper mass-produced ones. I think it depends on which company made them, you know? The factory quality control is all over the place. Take it with a grain of salt, but I'd rather have a cursed dice than a boring grey one any day.
