That one comment about player elimination hit me sideways

I was reading a thread on heavy euros and someone said their group bans player elimination outright, and I realized we've house-ruled it for 6 months without ever talking about it. Has anyone else quietly changed a rule and then forgotten it wasn't in the original game?

Ha, we did the exact same thing with resource trading in our group. Just stopped allowing it one night and nobody brought it up again for months. It's wild how quick a table can adopt a change without anyone actually voting on it. I keep a running list of house rules now on my phone so we don't lose track of what's actually in the box.
