Thought solo board gaming was just sad, then tried Spirit Island on a rainy Sunday in Cleveland
My buddy kept telling me Spirit Island was better solo than with a group and I laughed it off for months, mostly because playing a board game alone sounded like eating dinner at a movie theater by yourself. Gave it a shot during a storm last Sunday and 3 hours flew by, because the whole thing plays like a puzzle where you're the only one to blame when it falls apart. Anyone else got a game they swore they'd only play with people but ended up liking solo better?
