Took 90 minutes to find a single rule in the Gloomhaven rulebook last night
I was setting up a scenario and needed to check if monsters loot before or after they move. I swear I flipped through every page twice and still missed it. Finally found it on page 34 tucked under a different heading. Anyone else waste half a game night hunting down one dumb rule?

Spent twenty minutes looking for the "doors" rule in the same book once.

Oh man, I gotta push back on this one hard. The rulebook is laid out perfectly fine, you just gotta slow down and actually read the thing. People get impatient and start flipping pages like they're looking for a lost phone, and then they blame the book. I've been playing Gloomhaven for about a thousand hours at this point and I know that loot timing rule is on page 34 under Monster Behavior or whatever, right where it belongs. Sure the book is thick, but that's because this game is deep and has a ton of stuff going on. If you took 90 minutes to find one rule, that's on you for skimming instead of reading, not on the designers for putting it in a weird spot.
