Caught a guy at the union hall burning rods on 7018 without preheat
Watched him lay a 3/8 fillet on a cold plate at 30 degrees F last Tuesday and told him to check the code book, but he waved me off until the weld cracked during the hammer test, has anyone else had to hold their tongue when an older hand ignores the preheat callout?
