Hit 250 pressure tests on my little rig, that number snuck up on me
I keep a tally in my truck door for every hydro test I run since I bought my own pump setup. Yesterday I marked the 250th one, it was a 6 inch drum out at the old Anderson plant. I just stared at the tally for a minute because 250 tests means I've pushed over 30,000 gallons at 150 psi with zero leaks, but the scary part is I almost stopped double checking the hoses around test 180. That's when I figured out I was getting too comfortable with the routine. Has anyone else hit a goal and realized they were letting their guard down right before? I'm now setting a new rule to re-read the pressure charts every 25 tests, maybe that's overkill but I'd rather be bored than wrong.

That 180 mark is where complacency usually creeps in for most people, what made you finally notice it? Was it a specific near miss or just that gut feeling that something was off? I'm curious if the fix was more about routine discipline or catching your own mental slip before it became a habit.
