Hot take: I used to swear by stick welding for everything
Overheard a foreman on a job in Hammond say he uses flux-core for all his vertical work and it saves him 30 minutes a day. Tried it on a 100-foot railing repair and now I'm rethinking my whole setup - anyone else switch and not look back?

My buddy tried that and his garage smelled like a burnt up arcade for two days lol. The neighbors probably thought he was welding a whole car from scratch.
