Spent $75 on a magnetic parts tray and it's a game changer for boiler work

I was tired of dropping small bolts and washers into the bilge water when working on a feed pump last month. Grabbed a heavy duty magnetic tray from the supply house for about 75 bucks. It sticks right to the steel plate, holds all the hardware, and nothing rolls away. Saved me at least an hour of fishing for parts and kept the job clean. What other simple tools have you guys bought that made a huge difference on site?

Totally get that. It's wild how the simplest tools can save you from the biggest headaches. Makes you wonder why we ever put up with the hard way for so long.

Try a telescoping magnetic pickup tool for when you inevitably drop something anyway.

What's the best thing you've ever fished out with one of those?
