Sci-fi book choice I fought finally clicked after the group discussion

Our club picked 'The Dispossessed' and I spent 3 weeks calling it dry and preachy. Last Tuesday in Portland, this quiet member explained how the dual planets mirror our own bubble filters, and suddenly the whole thing landed for me. I still won't call it fun, but I get why it's a classic now. Anyone else have a pick they only warmed to after someone framed it differently?
