Serious question, did I make the right call picking the shorter book for our June club pick?
Our club meets at the Riverside library and we had to pick between two books for June. One was 620 pages and the other was 280. I pushed hard for the shorter one since half our group bailed on the last long pick, and we ended up with 11 people showing up, our best turnout since January. But now three members are saying it felt too light for discussion. Did I mess up by going short, or is a thinner book actually fine if the talk is good?
