Just got burned by a 'professional' bone folder that snapped on the first fold
Spent about $25 on it, thinking a nicer tool would help with my leather covers. The tip broke clean off on a simple turn-in, leaving a sharp edge that almost cut the material. Anyone have a brand they've used for years without this happening?

Guess "professional" just meant professionally disappointing.

Been there. First thing you do is check the warranty before you do anything else. If it's still under coverage, make them fix it or give your money back. Second thing is look up the return policy on the receipt if you still have it. Some companies actually have a satisfaction guarantee but they won't tell you about it unless you ask. Had a similar situation last year and got a full refund after I threatened to post the whole thing online with photos.
