Pro tip: my case bindings stopped cracking after I switched from PVA to wheat paste on the spine
For 2 months every hardcover I finished would crack at the hinge within a week of opening. Switched to a wheat paste mix on the spine liner and the same books have held up fine for 4 months now. Anyone else had luck with paste over straight PVA, or am I just fooling myself?
