Question about the number of signatures in a single book

I just finished a custom order for a local poet, and when I was done, I counted 47 signatures in the text block. It felt like a lot, but the book still opened flat and felt good in the hand. Has anyone else hit a specific number of signatures that made them stop and check their work?

Ever hit 50 signatures and the book just felt wrong?

Disagree completely. Hitting 50 signatures means you've done the real work to test your idea. That's when the book starts to feel right, not wrong. You've got solid proof people want it, gonzalez.vera. The early draft feeling is normal, but that's what editing is for.

Wait, you got fifty people to sign up and you still think it's wrong? That's wild to me. I'd be over the moon with that kind of proof. What part of it feels off to you?
