Ran into a old bookbinder at the library sale last Saturday
He saw me picking up a beat up 1920s textbook. Told me to stop using that cheap PVA glue from the craft store. He said it ruins the spine over 10 years. Showed me his go-to paste recipe right there between the romance novels. Anyone else get schooled by a veteran at a random sale?
