Serious question, I just finished my 100th book repair and it felt different

It was a simple reback on a 1920s copy of 'The Great Gatsby' for a local library. Something about hitting that round number made me realize how much my technique has changed since I started. Has anyone else had a specific milestone that made them reflect on their progress?

Totally get that feeling, hitting 50 repairs was my big moment.

Oh man, that's the thing nobody really talks about - how the first 50 repairs or projects or whatever feel like they're all just experiments! I hit that milestone with baking bread last year, and it was wild how each failure actually taught me more than the successes. Like, the first 20 loaves were just trying not to burn the kitchen down, then the next 30 was figuring out why some came out dense. Your mileage may vary, but there's a real shift after you've screwed up enough times that you start seeing patterns.
