Warning about cheap bookcloth from that online store

I bought a roll of buckram from a discount site three weeks ago and started a project with it last Thursday. By Friday the glue was seeping through the fabric and staining my covers. Has anyone else had this issue with those budget cloths?

Oh man, is that the stuff from that fabric warehouse site? I had the exact same thing happen with a navy blue roll I got last month. The glue started bleeding through on day two and left these weird yellowish stains all over my book covers, it was a total mess.

Whoa, wait, yellowish stains? That's worse than what I dealt with. I thought I was mad about the glue making the covers all sticky, but actual yellow splotches? That sounds like someone sneezed on your books and it froze in time. How did you even rescue the covers, or did you just have to toss the whole project? I would've lost my mind if mine did that.

Yellowish splotches" is exactly what I was picturing, yeah. I actually read somewhere that some of that cheap glue reacts with the fabric dye over time and turns into that color. Bummer you had to deal with that too, it's such a waste of a project.
