Warning: humidity check after rounding, not before
In my garage in Portland last Tuesday, I rounded a 400-page text block and by the next morning the spine had turned into a shallow wave, the paper just drank moisture overnight. I went back to pressing every rounded block flat for 24 hours before attaching the case, and checking a hygrometer right before the round, not a week out. Has anyone else had rounds shift after leaving them in a humid space for a night?
