Bought a snake plant at the grocery store checkout line six years ago and now I've got plants in every room of the house including the bathroom. My husband says I’ve got a problem but I keep telling him it’s better than collecting cats. The funny thing is I never planned to be a plant person, it just sort of happened one purchase at a time. Now I’ve got a whole shelf dedicated to pothos cuttings I’m rooting in water jars. I can’t even walk into a hardware store without checking their clearance plant rack first.

Now I've got plants in every room of the house including the bathroom" - I mean is it really that serious though? My mom has like one sad fern in the kitchen and she's fine. Maybe you just like having something green to look at while you brush your teeth, nothing wrong with that.
