A brand coach told me our logo looked like a bank from 1994, and she was right
Back in March I paid a brand coach in Portland $400 for a one hour review of our coffee shop branding, and she said our navy and gold logo made us look like a credit union, not a place for 20 somethings to hang out. I was annoyed for two days, then looked at our signage next to the shop down the street and got it. We redid the logo with warmer colors and rounded letters, and foot traffic from younger folks is up maybe 15% since. Has anyone else gotten harsh branding feedback that stung at first but turned out to be spot on?
