An old mentor told me to never put a logo on a t-shirt bag until it's paid for
I was running a small screen printing side gig in Austin about two years back. A buddy asked me to run 200 tees for his band's tour, said he'd square up after the first show. I was young and wanted to help, so I printed them all upfront. He never paid, and I was stuck with 200 shirts that had his name on them, which I couldn't sell to anyone else. Has anyone else gotten burned by letting a client take product before the check cleared?

That logo's basically a lien on paper until you see the money.

Actually a lien is a legal claim, not just a logo on paper.
