Brand consistency vs. local adaptation - which wins for a small chain?
Last week I drove past a coffee shop that had completely different signage, colors, and layout from their other location just 3 miles away. It got me thinking - does sticking rigidly to brand guidelines actually help, or does mixing it up for the neighborhood make more sense? Has anyone here seen a local tweak either save or kill a brand's vibe?

That bakery near my place tried the same thing, totally flopped. People missed the old look.
