Can we talk about rebranding a small local business?

We tried to update the logo and colors for a cafe in Austin called 'Morning Grind'... thought it would take a month, but aligning the new look across the menu, packaging, and social media actually took almost 4 months. The biggest delay was getting the staff to consistently use the new brand voice in their customer interactions. Has anyone else had a simple visual update turn into a huge operational project?

Yeah @ben486 nailed it, that muscle memory thing is real. The visual stuff is the easy part lol.

Totally feel this! That staff training part is the real hidden cost nobody talks about. A new logo is easy, but changing how people actually talk about the brand every day is a whole different project. It's like you have to rewire the muscle memory for every single employee, from the baristas to the managers. Makes you realize a brand is way more than just colors on a cup. That four month timeline sounds about right, honestly.

My own staff still uses the old name sometimes.
