Just read a study about how color changes what people think a brand is worth

I found this report from a university in Chicago that looked at 500 product pages. They said using the right shade of blue can make people think a product is worth 15% more than the same thing in a different color. I always knew color mattered, but I didn't know it had a direct link to perceived value like that. Has anyone else seen data on how specific colors affect pricing power?

Red packaging always makes me think something's on sale.

Totally get the red packaging thing. I always grab those items first thinking they're a deal, even when they're just regular price. It's a smart trick that works on me every time.
