Our new logo got roasted on social media the day it launched
We were in our office in Chicago last month when the new brand logo went live. By lunch, our Instagram was flooded with comments calling it 'a bad clip art project' and 'a step back'. My boss told me to 'figure it out fast' before the news picked it up. We pulled the logo that same afternoon and posted a simple message saying we heard the feedback and were taking another look. Has anyone else had to do a full 180 on a launch this fast, and how did you explain it to the rest of the company?
