Showerthought: My neighbor's kid asked me why our delivery vans are different colors now
We switched from green to blue trucks a year ago, and I never thought about it until he pointed it out. He said 'the green ones were friendlier', which really stuck with me about how small changes can mess with how people see a brand. Has anyone else had a simple comment totally shift how you look at a rebrand?

Wow, did the kid say why green felt friendlier?

My friend Mike runs a small coffee shop in Portland. He changed his logo from a brown coffee bean to a black abstract shape last fall. A regular customer, an older lady, told him quietly one morning that she missed the old bean because it felt "honest." That comment, much like what rosed32 was asking about, hit him hard. He realized the new logo looked cool to him but felt cold to everyone else. He switched it back within a month.
