Spent $600 on a brand guide redesign and nobody actually uses it
I work with a small agency in Denver and we just paid $600 for a full brand guide from a freelance designer. The problem is the sales team still throws together presentations with the old logo and wrong colors. What's the point of spending on brand assets if you don't enforce them internally? Has anyone else dealt with teams ignoring the official guidelines?

At LEAST you didn't pay $600 for a brand guide nobody reads.

Oh man, brand guides are one of those things where you either use them every day or they just sit in a Google Drive folder collecting digital dust. The sad part is most companies pay a ton for them but never actually enforce them. I've seen teams ignore their own brand guide for convenience and it totally defeats the purpose. Your mileage may vary but in my experience the ones that work are the ones that get shared with everyone and actually referenced in meetings.
