That agency director who asked me for my 'brand story' at a networking mixer in Austin
She said my logo looked 'fine' but asked what emotion I wanted people to feel in 5 seconds, and I froze because I've never actually written that down anywhere, has anyone else gotten caught off guard by a question like that?

Austin, Texas, right? That's a loaded question for anyone who isn't a full-time marketer. Honestly, what did she expect you to say, something about "authentic synergy"? Did you ever circle back to her with an answer, or did you just let that moment die on the vine?
