Tried rebranding my cleaning company with a fancy logo and color scheme, ended up with a client asking if I was now a vape shop

Spent $300 on a designer to make me look professional, and the first call I got after the change was someone asking if I sold flavored nicotine. Had to walk that one back real quick, has anyone else ever had a rebrand totally misfire like that?

My buddy's handyman van got mistaken for a taco truck after his rebrand.

Dude that's brutal but honestly it's wild how much colors and fonts can accidentally scream something totally different! It's like how every new coffee shop uses the same minimalist logo with a plant and suddenly you can't tell if it's a cafe or a yoga studio or a soap brand. People's brains just latch onto the first familiar shape or color and run with it. Your fancy cleaning company logo probably had some sleek lines and a modern font that accidentally matched every hipster vape store in existence. It's a reminder that context matters way more than we think.
