Appreciation post: the tiny screwdriver that came with my glasses kit

I spent 15 minutes trying to tighten the hinge on my reading glasses with a regular screwdriver and kept slipping. Then I grabbed that tiny one from the $3 repair kit I bought at CVS last month and it worked Perfectly first try. Has anyone else found a weird specific tool that just works better than the 'real' version?

My friend found out that a butter knife works better than a regular flathead screwdriver for prying open those impossible plastic battery covers on kids toys. She was trying to change the batteries in her son's firetruck with a screwdriver and it kept stripping the plastic. In frustration she grabbed a butter knife from the kitchen drawer and it popped right open without damaging a thing. She said the rounded edge just fits the slot perfectly but a sharp metal tool ruins it every time. Now she keeps a butter knife in her junk drawer just for that one task. Is it weird that a kitchen utensil outdoes an actual tool for some jobs?
