Finally figured out why my tiny dollhouse wallpaper kept bubbling

Tbh I spent like 3 months ruining dollhouse rooms with wrinkled wallpaper and could not figure out what I was doing wrong. Turns out I was using regular craft glue instead of wallpaper paste that's way thinner and lets the paper slide into place. A lady at the miniature shop in Portland told me to use a soft squeegee instead of my fingers and it made a huge difference. Has anyone else run into this or found a better glue hack for tiny walls?

Wait actually the trick is to use regular white glue but water it down like 50/50, that gives you the same sliding time as wallpaper paste without having to buy something special. I learned that after ruining three dollhouse kitchens in a row.
