Finally tried folding maps from the passenger seat instead of pulling over at a rest stop
I was driving through western Montana last month on a backroad detour and realized I spent 8 minutes on the shoulder wrestling with a paper map like some kind of caveman. My buddy in the passenger seat grabbed it and had us back on route in under 60 seconds flat using some weird fold technique he picked up from his dad. Has anyone else noticed a huge difference in how fast you get where you're going when someone else handles the map?

The folding trick is nice and all but nobody talks about how the map reader always holds it at a bad angle so the driver can't see anything lol. My wife does this thing where she folds it to show herself the route and blocks my entire view of the windshield for a solid 5 seconds.
