My new loom exploded yarn everywhere in a St. Louis coffee shop

I was weaving my first tapestry in that crowded place and the warp threads snapped mid-row, sending a rainbow mess across three tables, so I spent 20 minutes untangling it from a stranger's latte foam while muttering apologies, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has had a project literally blow up in public like that?
