Had to pick between a Marshalltown and a W Rose margin trowel last week

I needed a new margin trowel for tight spots around window frames and couldn't decide between the Marshalltown and the W Rose. Went with the Marshalltown because the handle felt better in my hand, but after three days of use I notice it flexes a tiny bit when I'm prying off old mortar. Anybody else run into this flex issue with their margin trowel?

The W Rose I borrowed from my buddy Joe last month on a bathroom reno in Houston had a solid feel with no flex at all when I was chipping out old tile. The handle was a bit blocky for me though, so I get why you went Marshalltown. I actually ended up buying a used W Rose off Craigslist after that and it's been stiff as hell for prying, no complaints. If the flex bothers you on the Marshalltown, you could try choking up on the handle closer to the blade for more control.

Man, I did the same thing with my Marshalltown and it worked like a charm.
