I just laid 1,200 bricks in a single day on a foundation job in Cincinnati, which is way more than my usual pace.
I realized it was because I finally set up a proper mortar board and brick pile layout, cutting my walking time in half, so what's your best setup for keeping everything within arm's reach?

That bit about cutting your walking time in half is so true! I was helping my uncle build a patio last summer and we spent the first day just tripping over stacks of pavers. Once we set up a circle of materials around the work area, it was like night and day. We stopped being so tired from just fetching stuff. A good layout is everything for keeping your energy up for the actual work.

Right? A good setup saves so much energy for the real work.
