Frozen veggie packs beat fresh for my meal prep after 2 months

I used to think frozen broccoli and peppers were sad compared to fresh. Last January I started buying the store brand frozen mix bags at $1.50 each instead of $4 for fresh that went bad in 4 days. After 8 weeks of using them in stir fry and pasta, the texture is honestly fine and I waste almost nothing. The real kicker was a bag of frozen spinach that cooked down better than the fresh bunches I kept forgetting. Now I only buy fresh for salads and onions, and my grocery bill dropped about $18 a month. Anyone else ditch fresh veg for frozen on purpose?

bro honestly frozen spinach is a sleeper pick, cooks way better than the sad fresh bunches. I made the same switch last year for stir fry and it's a no brainer when you're meal prepping. zero regrets about dropping the fresh stuff unless it's for snacking or salads.
