Hit 100 consecutive days of eating beans...

My 'pantry challenge' to cut costs got weirdly specific and I just realized I've had beans in some form for 100 days straight. It started with a giant bag of black beans I bought for $1.50 and just... never stopped. Anyone else get stuck in a weirdly cheap food loop?

Oh man, I totally did this with rice once! I just kept finding new stuff to put on it (like an egg, some soy sauce, you get it). Honestly, it saved me so much money that year.

Seriously, how is that even healthy? Beans every single day sounds like a terrible idea. Your body needs way more variety than that. Elizabeth220's rice thing is different, you can add lots of other foods to it. This is just one food, over and over. Saving money is good but you can't ignore basic nutrition. You're going to get sick of them and then binge on junk food later.
